By train
Take the train to the Gent-Sint-Pieters station. You can consult the train timetable on the SNCB-NMBS website. From the station you can take the tram or bus to UZ Gent. It takes about 20 minutes on foot.
By tram or bus
The T4 tramline is out of order until may 2027.
You can reach the UZ gent via:

from the Sint-Pietersstation: shuttle bus P3 (stop: UZ Zwijnaardsesteenweg) or with line 19 (halte Heymanslaan)

From Gent Zuid: Bus line 5A (halte UZ Zwijnaardsesteenweg)
The bus stop Heymanslaan (line 19) is right next to our campus. You walk onto campus through the gate at entrance D. At the bus shelter near entrance 86, you can hail the campus bus.
The T3 tramline is also out of order until may 2027.Between Sint-Pieterssation and Zwijnaarde you can take shuttle bus P3. The bus stop is UZ Zwijnaardsesteenweg.
By car
You can reach UZ Gent by car:

from the center via the inner ring road and the traffic axes De Pintelaan and Zwijnaardsesteenweg

via the R4, both from the east and the west

via the E40 and E17 freeways. The E40 freeway (Ostend-Brussels) is connected to the E17 (Antwerp-Kortrijk) via the Zwijnaarde interchange. On the E17 take exit 9 'Universitair Ziekenhuis' or 'UZG'
The parking capacity on campus is very limited. We recommend using public transportation.
